Prepress Developer

We are looking for an experienced Pre-Press Developer to join our dynamic advertising agency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the pre-press team, managing workflow efficiency, and ensuring all print-ready files meet high-quality standards. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and collaboration with designers, production teams, and print vendors to streamline the pre-press process.

1. Lead and manage the pre-press team, ensuring timely and accurate file preparation for various printing processes.
2. Oversee pre-flighting, color management, trapping, overprinting, and imposition settings to maintain print quality.
3. Collaborate with creative and production teams to ensure artwork is optimized for different print formats.
4. Develop and implement best practices for pre-press workflow and quality control.
5. Work closely with print vendors to verify proofs, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain print consistency.
6. Stay updated on printing techniques, substrates, and finishing processes.
7. Manage digital asset archiving and ensure version control and proper documentation.
8. Provide training and guidance to the pre-press team on new technologies, software, and industry trends.

1. Proven experience as a Pre-Press Manager, Pre-Press Supervisor, or in a senior pre-press role within an advertising or printing environment.
2. Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and other pre-press software.
3. Strong understanding of color management, print production processes, and file preparation techniques.
4. Experience with RIP software, proofing systems, and large-format printing.
5. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
6. Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
7. A degree or certification in Graphic Design, Printing Technology, or a related field is preferred.
