Bachelors in Mechanical / Petroleum / Chemical from HEC recognized university with at least 2 years of experience. PEC registration is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
The position of Engineer - Hydraulics exists for the purpose of applying advanced technical expertise in feasibility assessments, project execution, and model enhancements within the simulation framework. The incumbent ensures accurate representation of real-world scenarios, adherence to industry standards, and effective risk mitigation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Apply advanced technical knowledge in natural gas transmission principles, practices, and industry standards, with a specialization in simulation methodologies.
- Monitor the transmission model within the simulation, ensuring alignment with actual supply scenarios, relevant codes, and industry standards.
- Actively contribute in the execution of transmission projects within the simulation model, ensuring accuracy in representing real-world scenarios and compliance with industry standards.
- Engage with vendors and technology providers to integrate reliable and efficient simulation tools for accurate representation of natural gas transmission to consumers.
- Conduct comprehensive feasibility assessments tailored to the needs of consumers supply within the simulation framework.
- Engage in continuous professional development and training initiatives, staying updated on advancements in simulation methodologies and their application in natural gas transmission.
- Participate in the quality assurance of simulation data related to transmission components, offering recommendations based on stringent protocols.
- Verify project schedules and timelines within simulation, ensuring precise representation and identifying potential areas of concern.
- Provide valuable inputs to optimize natural gas transmission strategies.
- Comply with the risk management framework.
- Participate actively in risk management activities across the organization.
- Ensure that key risks are identified, reported, recorded and managed in a timely manner.
- Receive appropriate training in risk management.
- Undertake any other tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor.
