Data Analyst

About The Role

Grade Level (for internal use): 07

The Events team is responsible for collecting corporate actions and calendar of events for approximately 300,000 public and private companies from various sources, including published company reports and news aggregators. This includes highly sensitive events requiring high accuracy to deliver data timely for client decision-making.

Impact & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality content essential for clients to make informed decisions. Support data integrity and comprehensiveness by utilizing internal and external research sources such as government & regulatory documents, stock exchanges, industry journals, analyst reports, and internal tools to collect, summarize, and synthesize relevant information.
• Ensure high-quality data collation, analysis, extraction, and entry into work tools according to guidelines for the assigned vertical.
• Understand dataset workflows and develop strong working knowledge of work tools.
• Contribute ideas for new data collection methods and product improvements.
• Meet individual and team targets, delivering outcomes with quality and excellence.
• Develop technical expertise within the department.
• Troubleshoot issues and support workflow and process enhancements.
• Review feedback to correct errors and refine procedures to improve data accuracy.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• BBA/MBA with specialization in Finance or Accounting & Finance and related fields.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 6 months of professional experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of corporate finance and accounting, including financial statements and annual reports.
• Proficiency with secondary research sources.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
• Certification or experience in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and interpretive skills.
• Ability to conduct efficient thematic online research.
