Purpose: A key player in Sourcing in driving Sourcing's vision to be the Most Agile, Most Competitive, Most Digitalized & Cleanest Supply Base in the industry. Position Quality as an independent assurance organization (4 eyes principle) to secure top-class quality where it matters the most. Function as a "business consultant", the single point of contact to product teams (creation and manufacturing) on product integrity inquiries. Single contact point of Liaison Office (LO) teams and suppliers to implement a right-the-first-time culture and execution of quality assurance procedures within the assigned operations areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work cross-divisionally and cross-functionally with respective counterparts to implement one aligned adidas quality direction.
  2. Ensure quality performance targets are achieved and objectives accomplished.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and business partners.
  4. Manage all Product Integrity related activities. Single point of contact to product teams (creation and manufacturing) and cross-functional counterparts on product integrity inquiries.
  5. Secure the right testing execution and validation on laboratory and perception testing as per product intended use, performed at Tier 1 (T1), Tier 2 (T2) or 3rd parties.
  6. Monitor product integrity, including A-01, CMA risky articles, buy-ready compliance, flag any potential risk on and escalate non-compliance.
  7. Track warehouse claims and defective returns to coordinate analysis in collaboration with LO Operational Management and Claim Management Team. Ensure that root cause is identified, corrective action plans are established and executed.
  8. Upskill LO and supplier teams on Quality documentation and manage implementation of related quality policies, manuals, and standards.
  9. Manage and conduct factory audits within assigned operations areas through consistent application of available evaluation tools. Ensure factory audits are conducted on production and testing processes; quality management systems to verify the performance level.
  10. Onboard new suppliers to enable supplier teams to manage daily quality activities independently according to adidas quality standards.
  11. Certification of T1 AQL inspectors, in collaboration with T1 Quality and LO Manufacturing teams.
  12. Implementation of 3rd party inspection programs at T1.
  13. Support quality-related projects, trials, and initiatives at T1 and T2 suppliers.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  1. Have a wide experience of quality management concepts in manufacturing of consumer goods.
  2. Strong presentation, negotiation, influencing, people and communication skills.
  3. Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  4. Strong Microsoft Office skills.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  1. University degree in engineering/materials or related areas.
  2. Minimum 5+ years of experience, of which at least 3 were in quality concepts and similar positions.
