BrainX Technologies is seeking a passionate Android Developer with 1–3 years of experience in Android application development. Job Responsibilities
  • Design and develop robust Android applications using modern development principles.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new features.
  • Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews to uphold code quality.
  • Share knowledge within the team through peer reviews and learning sessions.
  • Follow coding standards and contribute to team process improvements.
Skills Required
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of Android development experience.
  • Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin, with a strong understanding of core concepts, data structures, and design patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose for modern UI development.
  • Familiarity with Flutter is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Android SDK, version management, and screen responsiveness.
  • Experience with offline storage, background processing, and performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of RESTful API integration.
  • Experience with libraries like Retrofit, Volley, and cloud messaging tools like FCM.
  • Experience working with local databases such as SQLite.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Git and Android Studio.
  • Knowledge of Google APIs (Maps, Auth, FCM) and experience publishing apps on the Play Store.
  • Understanding of test automation and unit testing (e.g., JUnit).
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and open-source contributions.
  • Excellent communication skills (B2+ level or above as per CEFR).
  • Strong client-handling skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to articulate technical issues and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
