Software Engineering Manager (MERN Stack)

We are looking for an experienced and motivated full-time on-site Engineering Manager to lead our technical teams, drive engineering excellence, and deliver on-time quality results. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day development activities, ensuring team performance, resource allocation, assisting in hiring, and fostering a collaborative, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers across various projects.
  2. Manage the end-to-end delivery of engineering solutions, ensuring quality, scalability, and timely completion.
  3. Collaborate closely with product, design, and other cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and project roadmaps.
  4. Set clear goals for the team, track progress, and maintain high standards of technical excellence.
  5. Identify, recruit, and onboard engineering talent as needed.
  6. Implement and optimize engineering processes, tools, and best practices.
  7. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  8. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
  9. Participate in final technical interviews for engineering candidates and collaborate with HR on hiring decisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience (5+ years) in a software engineering role, with at least 2 years in leadership or management.
  3. Strong technical background with hands-on experience.
  4. Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
  5. Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools.
  6. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  7. Experience working in a software services company.
  8. Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
