Overview

Role: Full Stack Web Developer for S&P Global Market Intelligence. The team supports Internal applications that underpin Energy Dataset and accelerates energy transition initiatives. The role is in a fast-paced agile environment handling large data volumes and emerging technology stacks.

Responsibilities
  • Solve problems, analyze, and isolate issues
  • Build solutions to develop and support key business needs
  • Engineer components and common services based on standard development models, languages, and tools
  • Produce system design documents
  • Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical partners
  • Quickly learn new and internal technologies
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s / master's degree in computer science, Information Systems or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of significant experience in web development
  • Programming Languages and Libraries: C#, ASP .NET MVC, .NET Core, Container platforms, JavaScript, jQuery, TypeScript, HTML, Front End Web Development
  • Good database concepts and experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL
  • Interface Protocols & Standards: HTTP, JSON, RESTful Services, MS Web API
  • Frameworks and Patterns: SPA Framework, Entity Framework, WCF, MVVM, MVP
  • Experience with GraphQL, Micro Frontend, ReactJS preferred
  • Operating Systems: Windows
  • Processes: Scaled Agile Framework, Software Engineering, Object-Oriented Software, Design Patterns, Agile Programming, Cross-browser Compatibility
  • Ability to resolve performance-related issues through testing, debugging, and profiling
  • Proactive, client-focused self-starter with a practical, hands-on approach
