Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SAM AML Consultant to join our team and play a pivotal role in supporting and developing our SAS AML application landscape. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert support and configuration for the SAS AML 7.1 application, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance SAS programs using BASE SAS and Advanced SAS techniques.
  • Leverage SAS Enterprise Guide (EG) and Oracle PL/SQL for data extraction, transformation, and reporting tasks.
  • Administer user management and access control through the SAS Administrative Console.
  • Oversee basic Linux-based server administration relevant to SAS application operations.
  • Support critical daily and monthly processes such as dunning and month-end routines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and document software development best practices in an anti-money laundering context.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in SAS AML application programming, specifically with SAS AML 7.1.
  • Proficiency in BASE SAS, Advanced SAS, and Oracle PL/SQL is mandatory.
  • Strong command of written communication, with the ability to articulate solutions and document processes in an asynchronous environment.
  • Experience supporting SAS applications in an AML context, including configuration and user management.
  • Working knowledge of basic Linux commands and system navigation.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices in data-driven environments.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and support application, ETL, and process management tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAS Data Integration (DI) and SAS Visual Analytics (VA).
  • Background in data warehouse marts, including DTS development and monitoring.
  • Proficiency in UNIX operating systems and associated development tools.
