LogicDisc is looking for a skilledEmbedded Firmware Engineerto join our team in Islamabad. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing firmware for embedded systems, as well as troubleshooting custom hardware solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with microcontrollers, real-time operating systems, and hardware debugging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize embedded firmware forPIC32, ARM-based microcontrollers, and other embedded platforms.
  • Debug and troubleshoot hardware-software integration issues.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless system functionality.
  • Work withReal-Time Operating Systems (RTOS), preferablyFreeRTOS(experience is a plus).
  • Assist in basic circuit design and PCB-level debugging when necessary.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in system testing, validation, and performance optimization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree inComputer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience inembedded firmware development(PIC32, ARM Cortex, etc.).
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for embedded systems.
  • Familiarity withRTOS (FreeRTOS is a plus).
  • Basic understanding ofcircuit design and hardware interfacing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience inembedded systems development(professional or academic projects).
  • Knowledge ofcommunication protocols(UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, TCP, UDP, RS422, RS485, ModBus).
  • Exposure tolow-power embedded designand optimization.
