Physical Standards
Candidates should be of the below mentioned minimum prescribed height for being eligible for the posts:

Cadre: Minimum Height required

Male: 5 feet 7 inches (170.2 cms)
Female: 5 feet 2 inches (157.5 cms)

Note: All Transgender candidates shall be treated at par with Female candidates in respect of Physical Screening Test and Physical Measurement Test.

Selection Process: The recruitment for filling up the vacancies shall be carried out through a Common Application Form (CAF) and Common Computer Based (CBT) process followed by Physical Screening Test (PST) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) with specified qualifying parameters.

The selection process shall be a 3 (three) stage process consisting of the following:

  1. Stage-I: Common Computer Based Test (CBT) comprising of Paper-I and Paper-II.
  2. Stage-II: Physical Screening Test (PST) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT).
  3. Stage-III: Document Scrutiny.

For Ex-Servicemen of Punjab Only/Lineal Descendants of ESM: ₹500/- (Only Application Fee)

For SC/ST of all States and BC of Punjab State Only: ₹650/- (Application Fee ₹500 + Examination Fee ₹150)

For EWS: ₹650/- (Application Fee ₹500 + Examination Fee ₹150)
