IT Manager

Note: This position is only for the residents of Abbottabad, Haripur, and Manshera or those willing to move.

SoloSoft Technologies Pvt Ltd in IT Park, Abbottabad is looking for an IT Manager. Overall responsibilities include planning, implementing, managing, and maintaining the organization's application and use of technology and business applications; evaluating and providing recommendations regarding information technology software and systems.

Essential Functions:

1. Coordinates a variety of projects and/or activities for the purpose of ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
2. Designs technical courses for the purpose of training personnel in the use of computer applications.
3. Engineers computer networks for the purpose of providing reliable communication applications.
4. Maintains computer hardware and software applications through the use of service contractors for the purpose of ensuring availability of instructional materials and district operations.
5. Monitors fund balances of assigned programs and related financial activity for the purpose of ensuring that allocations are accurate, related revenues are generated, expenses are within budget limits and/or fiscal practices are followed.
6. Participates in meetings, workshops, and seminars for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform functions.
7. Performs personnel functions (e.g., interviewing, evaluating, supervising, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining adequate staffing, enhancing productivity of personnel, and achieving objectives within budget.
8. Prepares a variety of materials (e.g., reports, memos, letters, procedures, manuals, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, providing written reference, and/or conveying information.
9. Researches software applications and hardware requirements for the purpose of previewing products to provide recommendations regarding applications and purchases.
10. Responds to inquiries for the purpose of providing information and/or direction.
11. Serves as liaison to software/hardware providers for the purpose of conveying and/or receiving information and coordinating district activities.
12. Actively involved in the design and development of both open source and desktop software applications in PHP/MySQL, ASP.NET (MVC)/MSSQL Server, C#.

Preferably graduate in Computer Science and related fields with software development experience of more than 3 years, IT management experience of 5 years, and training experience of 3 years.
