Education, Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field / ACCA Affiliate.
  • At least 1 to 2 years in accounts receivable, financial analysis, or a similar role.
  • Basic understanding of the Order-to-Cash (OTC) process.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible in either of the areas of O2C including but not limited to Cash Application, Credit and Debit management, Billing/invoicing Customers, Revenue Recognition, Collection and Dispute management and/or Customer Master Data Maintenance (MDM).
  • Perform Billing/Invoicing such as invoice creation, sending invoices to customers, Check/ Block/Delete/ Change Billing documentation on invoices, etc.
  • Perform Cash Application activities such as applying cash remittances and credit/adjustments, investigating, applying and managing unallocated cash, processing post-dated cheques, bill of exchange payments, direct debit, posting of returned payments and cheques, and managing exceptions thereof.
  • Manage Collections and Disputes such as debt collection, bad debt provisioning, account closure, duplicate deposits, following up for missing remittances, sending dunning notices, processing factoring receipts, etc., resolving customer queries and managing customer requests.
  • Ensure adherence to all accounting principles within the Order-to-Cash process, maintaining accurate financial records and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Set up and maintain Customer Master in ERP, including customer code creation, maintaining/amending/updating the trade list price, surcharges, sales distribution, discounts, rebate setup, commissions and royalties, etc. for customers.
  • Provide process updates, attend dashboard calls, and respond to critical issues.
  • Establish effective relationships with different partners within and outside the organization through written and verbal communication.
  • You will be required to perform analysis and solve lower complex problems related to daily tasks.
  • Update activity trackers and route out-of-scope issues to internal teams for further resolution.
