About the Job:

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as the Dean of a renowned Medical Institution. This institution is committed to excellence in medical education, research, and healthcare.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an established scholar with a strong medical or basic science background to lead our Medical Institution. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, teaching, and research, and will oversee the academic, administrative, and financial aspects of the institution.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide strategic leadership and vision for the Medical Institution.
  2. Recruit, develop, and manage faculty and staff.
  3. Oversee undergraduate and postgraduate medical teaching and research programs.
  4. Manage budgetary and financial matters related to the medical school.
  5. Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
  6. Develop and maintain partnerships with healthcare organizations, industry, and government agencies.
  7. Report to the Board of Governors.
Requirements:
  1. Medical or basic science qualification (MBBS or equivalent).
  2. Higher Diploma (FCPS, FRCP, FRCS, or US Board certification or equivalent).
  3. Ph.D. in medical science (desirable).
  4. At least 7 years of administrative experience leading a department, unit, program, or institution.
  5. Recognized leadership qualities and a track record in teaching and research.
  6. Commitment to medical education and research.
