Technical Bid Writer - UK Public Sector - Bids & Tenders Division

We are currently seeking a Technical Bid Writer to join our team, focusing on public sector bids and tenders, specifically within the UK healthcare and social care sectors.

Role Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for writing, and contributing to the bids and tender process. Working closely with our sales team, and our compliance, management and finance seniors, you'll prepare bid submissions that meet the specific needs of our clients. Whilst we operate within an advanced AGAI technological environment, we greatly value your expertise in technical bid writing, irrespective of the systems you are accustomed to.

Although this role is focused on the UK public health and social care sector, we welcome candidates with experience in IT, Finance, or other sectors who are excited about cross-industry training and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compelling Writing: Craft detailed and informative responses to bid questions in line with customer specifications.
• Research: Conduct research across multiple departments and on customer profiles to gather necessary information for bid submissions.
• Bid Kick-Off Meetings: Attend and participate in bid kick-off meetings with internal stakeholders.
• Bid Library Management: Maintain and update a library of existing and in-progress bids.
• Commercial Awareness: Keep an eye on industry trends and alert the sales team to potential new opportunities.
• Team Collaboration: Thrive in a dynamic and growing team, contributing to the success of various projects.
• Support: Assist with additional projects to support team members when required.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Bid and Tender Writing: Minimum of five years of experience in bid writing and managing tenders, ideally within the public sector.
• RFIs and RFPs Expertise: Strong background in handling Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) documents.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail in all bid-related documents.
• Time Management: Excellent time-keeping skills and ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using the MS Office suite and familiarity with bid management tools such as AGAI (or similar).
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
• Self-Motivation: Proactive, self-driven, and committed to delivering the highest standards in every bid.

Working Conditions:

• Location: Islamabad office (5 days a week in-office), with a Hybrid option available upon successful completion of training and a six-month probation period.
• Team Interaction: Regular collaboration with stakeholders based in the UK, Africa and Pakistan.
