About Nysonian

Nysonian Inc. is a fast-growing eCommerce company that builds innovative, high-quality brands across fitness, wellness, and travel. Our portfolio includes Flo Pilates, a leading at-home Pilates brand, and Nobl, a premium travel gear company. We're building mobile apps for both brands — and we're looking for a skilled, flexible developer who can bring them to life.

The Role

We're hiring a Full-Stack Mobile App Developer to lead the development of multiple mobile applications across iOS and Android — including:

  • A Pilates fitness app with video streaming, workout programs, progress tracking, photo comparisons, and meal planning tools
  • A travel companion app for our Nobl suitcase brand, with features like item tracking (similar to Apple AirTag), trip planning tools, and eComm integration

You'll be responsible for building, scaling, and maintaining both apps from the ground up, working closely with our design, eCommerce, and product teams.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile apps (iOS, iPadOS, Android)
  • Build advanced features including:
  • Video class streaming, bookmarking, and guided programs
  • Weight logging and side-by-side photo comparisons
  • Meal planning and interactive food logging
  • GPS/location tracking features for travel gear (like Apple Find My)
  • Shopify account sync and purchase tracking
  • Integrate with 3rd-party APIs (Shopify, maps/location services, auth, etc.)
  • Set up and manage backend systems (e.g., Firebase, Supabase)
  • Optimize performance and ensure smooth UI/UX across devices
  • Own the app store submission process and ongoing updates
  • Troubleshoot issues and push fast, clean updates

Who You Are

  • Proven experience building production-ready apps on iOS and Android (React Native or Flutter preferred)
  • Confident working with APIs, backends, databases, and 3rd-party services
  • Experienced with Shopify API or eCommerce integrations
  • Familiar with video streaming, media-heavy interfaces, and user content
  • Can build tools like GPS tracking, geofencing, or Bluetooth-based finders
  • Strong sense of UI/UX and attention to detail
  • Comfortable taking full ownership of a product's technical side

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Apple HealthKit or Google Fit (for Pilates app)
  • Experience with location tracking, Bluetooth, or IoT integrations (for Nobl app)
  • Familiarity with Firebase, Supabase, or custom backends
  • Experience with in-app purchases, subscriptions, and Apple/Google Play Store submissions
  • Help shape meaningful, high-quality products across industries
