General Summary:

As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will design, develop, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and utility programs that support cutting-edge products. Collaboration with systems, hardware, architecture, and test engineers is essential to design system-level software solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of experience, or
  • Master's degree with 2+ years, or
  • PhD with 1+ year of experience.

Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python is required.

Specialized Security Focus:

Join Qualcomm's Product Security team to impact the security of billions of devices. Multiple openings are available focusing on:

  • Product security incident response in automotive industry
  • Secure code review, analysis, and vulnerability assessment
  • Security testing including fuzzing and pen-testing
  • Operating system security, mobile platform security (Android), automotive security
  • Exploit mitigation, threat modeling
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working with external security researchers
  • Knowledge of LLVM, static analysis tools like Klocwork, Coverity, Parasoft
  • Application of static/dynamic analysis tools for vulnerability detection
  • Understanding of mobile or embedded OS internals
