Position Overview:

Plumlogix is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to lead and manage the full spectrum of human resources functions. This role encompasses strategic HR leadership, comprehensive HR operations, talent acquisition and development, employee relations, and fostering a positive and productive work environment, ensuring compliance with Pakistani and US labor laws. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and strategic leader with strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Leadership & Compliance Alignment: Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with business objectives and Pakistani and US labor laws. Provide strategic HR advice to leadership on people-related matters, including organizational development and workforce planning. Lead and mentor the HR team (if applicable) and manage the HR budget effectively. Stay updated on HR trends and legal changes in Pakistan and the US, contributing to the overall business strategy and preparing HR reports and metrics for leadership.
  • HR Operations, Compliance & Policy Management: Oversee all HR administrative functions, ensuring accurate record-keeping and HRIS management, and ensure compliance with Pakistani and US labor laws and regulations. Develop and maintain company-wide HR policies and procedures, managing employee data confidentially and acting as a point of contact for legal counsel on HR matters. Manage relationships with HR-related vendors.
  • HR Documentation, Reporting & Records Management: Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation, preparing HR reports and analytics (e.g., turnover, recruitment), and maintaining organizational charts and job descriptions. Ensure HR documentation complies with legal and internal requirements.
  • Payroll Management & Benefits Administration: Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with Pakistani and US regulations (potentially with an external provider) and administer employee benefits programs, ensuring effective communication and enrollment. Address employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits and manage relationships with benefits providers.
  • Full-Cycle Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies, managing the full recruitment lifecycle (sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers). Collaborate with hiring managers on staffing needs, build a strong employer brand, utilize various recruitment channels, and manage onboarding for new hires.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement Strategy: Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment, serving as a point of contact for employee relations issues and conflict resolution. Develop initiatives to enhance employee morale and retention, promote open communication within the organization, and ensure compliance with labor laws related to employee rights.
  • Employee Training, Development & Performance Management: Identify employee training and development needs, developing and implementing training programs. Manage the performance management process, support employee career development, and evaluate training effectiveness. Over-maintain high employee retention rates and good performance of employees.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration (with HR focus), or a related field.
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) as an HR Manager or in a similar leadership role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Pakistani labor laws and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes and benefits administration.
  • Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • Fluency in English and Urdu is essential.
