Assist with completing a professionally authored private family biography and companion family cookbook. Follow a master checklist of corrections and formatting tasks in Microsoft Word, check the work carefully, and return clean, polished documents.
Work includes
- Apply exact find-and-replace text corrections throughout the manuscript.
- Check heading styles, font consistency, line spacing, and paragraph alignment.
- Format photo captions and verify image placement.
- Verify Arabic and Urdu text displays correctly using right-to-left rendering; no translation is required.
- Set the document to the correct print dimensions.
Job Specification
Based in Pakistan; fully remote
- Current university student or recent graduate (within the last 3 years) from a strong institution
- Background in English Literature, Linguistics, Journalism, History, or a related field
- Near-native English and strong Urdu
- Advanced Microsoft Word skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions precisely
- Responsive and reliable
