Role Description

We are seeking a Junior Backend Software Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. You will work on backend services, databases and cloud-integrated applications. This is a career-accelerating opportunity to gain mentorship, work on international projects and build robust systems powering global businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain backend services, APIs and integrations.
  • Collaborate with front-end teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Write clean, efficient and testable code while following best practices.
  • Assist in database design and optimization (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Contribute to system documentation and technical discussions.
  • Stay updated with emerging backend technologies and tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
  • 0–1 years of backend development experience.
  • Prior experience in one or more backend frameworks:
  • Python (Django, FastAPI, Flask)
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs
  • Exposure to GraphQL.
  • Basic database experience: PostgreSQL/MySQL (relational) and MongoDB/Redis/Firebase (NoSQL).
  • Knowledge of Git/GitHub/GitLab for version control.
  • Strong grasp of data structures & algorithms and problem-solving mindset.
  • Basic familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture.
