Overview

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Abyan Capital, you'll collaborate with other QA Engineers as well as a team of Web Developers, UX Designers, and Marketers to oversee the complete development and optimization of our app.

Responsibilities
  • Create and execute manual tests and contribute to automated testing where applicable
  • Develop, review, and maintain documentation throughout the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
  • Translate requirements and user stories into effective test scripts and detailed test cases
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve issues
  • Perform UI testing and contribute to end-to-end testing across the SDLC, including unit, integration, system, regression, and performance testing
Qualifications
  • 3-4 years of experience in manual testing
  • Practical experience with automated testing tools is a plus
  • Ability to debug software products using systematic testing to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards
  • Familiarity with Agile development and Scrum methodologies
  • Experience using JIRA
  • Proficient in developing, reviewing, and maintaining documentation throughout the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
  • Experience with end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including Agile testing methodologies and various test phases (unit, integration, system, regression, performance)
  • Capable of creating detailed test cases and scripts and translating requirements into test scripts
  • Effective communication with development teams to address issues
  • Hands-on experience with UI testing
  • Basic knowledge of SQL
