Job Overview

As a Data Scientist at Jeeny, you will play a pivotal role in extracting valuable insights from our data, leveraging statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and programming skills to support our business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data analytics into actionable strategies that enhance user experience and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Analyze structured and unstructured data to uncover patterns, trends, and insights
  2. Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand data distributions and relationships
  3. Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the analysis pipeline
  4. Build, train, and evaluate predictive and prescriptive models using machine learning algorithms
  5. Optimize model performance through hyperparameter tuning and feature engineering
  6. Deploy models into production environments and monitor their performance
  7. Collaborate with the product team to understand objectives and translate them into data-driven solutions
  8. Design experiments (e.g., A/B testing) to evaluate the impact of business strategies
  9. Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis
  10. Present technical findings in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders
  11. Liaison with the designated team to identify key deliverables & business process optimization
  12. Commercial awareness and confidence in working with complex data and systems

Requirements

  1. Excellent Interpersonal & Problem-Solving Skills
  2. 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning or a related field
  3. Must have worked with structural and non-structural databases
  4. Proficient in programming languages like Python or R
  5. Strong understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms
  6. Experience with large language models (LLM) and LangChain
  7. Familiarity with cloud platforms like Hadoop, AWS, Google Cloud, Snowflake or Azure
  8. Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
  9. Basic knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
  10. Knowledge of hypothesis testing, regression, and probability distributions
