Steno typist

Union Developers (Pvt.) Ltd. Lahoreis seeking a smart, organized, and detail-orientedSteno Typist / Computer Operator (Shorthand)to provide direct support to senior management, including the CEO. The ideal candidate must possess excellent shorthand transcription abilities (minimum speed: 80–100 wpm), strong computer proficiency, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately listen to and transcribe spoken content in real-time using shorthand techniques.
• Prepare well-formatted transcripts and official documents from stenographic notes.
• Edit and proofread transcriptions to ensure clarity, grammar, and factual accuracy.
• Maintain detailed and organized stenographic records and files.
• Handle confidential and sensitive information with the highest level of discretion.
• Support executive communication needs by creating timely and accurate documents.

Requirements:

• High School diploma / bachelors, formal shorthand training is compulsory.
• Proficiency in steno typist techniques and shorthand writing.
• Excellent typing speed and computer literacy (MS Office Suite, transcription tools).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in transcription.
