Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Azure Data Architect with a strong telecom industry background to design, implement, and optimize cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure Data Services, ETL pipelines, big data processing, and data governance, specifically tailored for telecom datasets such as CDRs, network performance metrics, and customer analytics. This role requires deep technical knowledge combined with the ability to align data strategies with telecom business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and implement Azure-based data architectures using Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake, and Cosmos DB for telecom analytics.
  2. Architect data warehouses & models using SQL, NoSQL, and distributed storage to manage high-volume telecom datasets.
  3. Implement big data solutions leveraging Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, and Databricks for real-time fraud detection, network optimization, and predictive analytics.
  4. Work closely with business stakeholders, data scientists, and IT teams to define data strategies that improve customer insights, operational performance, and revenue growth.

Requirements

  1. Indepth knowledge of Azure cloud services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, and Power BI.
  2. Strong understanding of the telecom industry, including data sources, network architectures, and customer behavior analytics.
  3. Hands-on experience with building and managing ETL pipelines and integrating data from diverse sources into a unified data platform.
  4. Strong skills in data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and experience with tools like Azure Synapse, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
  5. Proficient in SQL, Python, and/or Spark for processing and transforming large datasets.
  6. Familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.) and experience handling large datasets in a distributed environment.
  7. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with complex data structures and provide actionable insights.
  8. Familiarity with telecom-specific data such as customer data, call detail records (CDRs), network performance metrics, and service usage statistics.
  9. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a cloud-based environment.
