Job Description:

Zynth Digital is seeking talented and creative YouTube video Editors who excel at crafting compelling visual stories, especially for platforms like YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok. If you have a passion for storytelling through short-form video content and enjoy experimenting with trends.

Responsibilities:

• Edit and create high-quality video content for various platforms, including YouTube Shorts, social media, websites, presentations, and other digital channels.
• Could you collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and translate concepts into compelling short-form visual stories and long-form content?
• Organize and manage raw video footage, ensuring proper file organization and backup.
• Cut and trim footage segments to ensure smooth transitions, continuity, and seamless integration of audio, video, and graphics.
• Enhance videos with special effects, animations, graphics, and other visual elements to engage viewers and convey the desired message.
• Incorporate music, voiceovers, sound effects, and other audio elements to enhance the overall video production.
• Stay informed about short-form video trends, including viral formats and platform-specific features like transitions and effects.
• Optimize videos for YouTube Shorts, ensuring compatibility with the platform's specific aspect ratios, durations, and audience preferences.
• Collaborate with the content team to ensure videos align with brand guidelines, tone, and messaging.
• Manage multiple video editing projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing techniques, software, and industry trends to improve video quality and production processes continuously.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing video editing skills and creativity.
• Experience in creating YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, or TikTok videos is a major advantage.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with motion graphics, visual effects, and other video editing techniques.
• Solid understanding of video editing techniques, principles of visual storytelling, and composition.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and high-quality output.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand and execute creative briefs effectively.
• Knowledge of video compression, codecs, and file formats for different platforms.
• Time management skills to meet project deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Basic understanding of audio editing and mixing techniques is a plus.
• Degree in Film Production, Multimedia Design, or a related field is preferred.
