The affiliated Aga Khan University Hospital has well-equipped investigative services and provides state-of-the-art clinical facilities.
The Department of Surgery provides comprehensive and sub-specialty care in Cardiothoracic Surgery, Dental-Oral, Maxillo-Facial Surgery, General Surgery, Breast Surgery, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics Surgery, Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, Pediatrics Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Urology, and Vascular Surgery. The department has 120 full-time and part-time faculty with a solid commitment to teaching and research. Formal structured undergraduate teaching, postgraduate residency, and fellowship programmes are integrated into the academic functions of the department.

Aga Khan University invites applications for the positions of Senior Instructor/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor in the Section of Neurosurgery, Department of Surgery.
ResponsibilitiesYou will have an independent consultant status and undertake undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research, and specified administrative activities. In addition, you should have demonstrated scholarship through research, publications and contribution to education.
RequirementsYou should have completed postgraduate training and possess FCPS, FRCS, American Board or equivalent with subsequent clinical, teaching and research experience. For Senior Instructor, You should have at least two years' experience in a reputable institution.
Applicants for Assistant Professor should have at least two years' experience as Senior Instructor or equivalent. In addition, they should have demonstrated scholarship through research, publications, and/or contribution to education.
Applicants for Associate Professor should have at least eight years of teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University with five years' post-terminal experience of teaching and a minimum of 10 research publications in journals recognized jointly by HEC and PMDC, with at least 4 of these publications in the last five years.
