Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Account & Admin Officer to manage day-to-day financial operations and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in handling accounting functions, regulatory compliance, and financial communication—especially in startup environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Finance:
1. Record and manage daily expenses and petty cash disbursements
2. Prepare, verify, and issue invoices to clients
3. Maintain financial records, ledgers, and bank reconciliations
4. Coordinate with clients for timely payment follow-ups and issue resolution
5. Prepare monthly and quarterly expense reports for management
6. Assist in internal and external audits
Regulatory & Compliance:
1. Handle all documentation and reporting related to SECP, FBR, and other regulatory bodies
2. Ensure timely submission of tax filings and regulatory forms
3. Liaise with legal or tax consultants for compliance matters
Administrative Tasks:
1. Maintain records for office supplies, fixed assets, and employee documentation
2. Support management in procurement, vendor management, and payment processing
3. Assist in organizing financial documentation required for due diligence or investor reporting
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
2. 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment
3. Solid understanding of bookkeeping, accounting principles, and regulatory filings
4. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
5. Strong communication and coordination skills
6. Attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills
Preferred:
1. Familiarity with SECP, FBR, and tax-related workflows
2. Experience in coordinating with auditors or regulatory consultants
3. Basic understanding of payroll and HR operations
