Position: Exploration Geologist

Location: Reko Diq SITE - Balochistan

Qualification:

• Geologist-Engineer degree
• Postgraduate degree, desirable

Experience:

• At least 2 years of exploration experience
• Experience in gold-copper exploration

Requirements:

• Knowledge of hydrothermal alteration types and zoning in gold-silver epithermal deposits, copper-gold, and copper-molybdenum porphyries
• Understanding of geological models of gold-silver and copper-gold, copper-molybdenum deposits
• Proficiency in Leapfrog and ArcGIS Pro
• Knowledge of geophysical methods such as CSAMT, IP-resistivity
• Awareness of safety, health, environmental standards, and community relations

Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate new exploration opportunities in Pakistan aligned with company strategy
• Participate in project generation and assessment of properties for potential Tier 1 or Tier 2 deposits
• Develop and execute exploration programs, especially during project generation and target delineation stages
• Oversee field exploration activities, ensuring data quality and proper documentation
• Ensure technical and geological data are accurately stored and updated in the company's database
• Provide technical reports and presentations on exploration activities and findings
• Conduct technical site visits and prepare reports
• Promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning among team members
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and good business practices
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely exploration program execution
• Communicate project objectives, progress, and implications effectively
• Manage project budgets and ensure permit acquisition
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and community policies
