We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our growing content team. If you have a passion for storytelling through visuals, an eye for aesthetics, and experience with hopecore-style editing, this could be the perfect role for you.

About the Role:

As our video editor, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage into emotionally compelling, engaging, and highly shareable content. You'll be working on a range of projects from short-form content for social media (Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) to longer storytelling formats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Edit videos with strong emotional impact in the hopecore aesthetic (soft lighting, nostalgic tones, uplifting music, etc.).
  • Use tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and/or CapCut to produce high-quality video content.
  • Collaborate with our creative team to understand the message and target audience for each project.
  • Incorporate music, voiceovers, subtitles, and motion graphics when needed.
  • Maintain a fast turnaround time while ensuring quality and attention to detail.
  • Stay updated with current editing trends and platform-specific content styles.
Tools & Skills Required:
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or CapCut.
  • Experience editing hopecore-style content is a must — think soft, cinematic, nostalgic, emotionally driven edits.
  • Strong storytelling skills with an understanding of pacing, transitions, and rhythm.
  • Knowledge of color grading, sound design, and basic motion graphics.
  • Familiarity with content platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.
Bonus if you have:
  • Portfolio of hopecore edits (please share links when applying).
  • Experience with After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or other video tools.
  • Ability to work with feedback and iterate quickly.
  • Passion for visual storytelling, mental health, hope-themed content, or emotional storytelling.
