Responsibilities:

  • Design & develop features in existing product as per specification by following the guidelines and best practices.
  • Develop frontend and backend applications.
  • Develop REST APIs.
  • Ensure the quality of code through guidelines and unit testing.
  • Participate in scrum meetings to ensure the delivery as per plan.
  • Maintain and support software applications in different stages.
  • Conduct R&D to explore new technologies and trends.

Job Specification:

  • Strong software engineering fundamentals in OOAD, design patterns, MVC, data structures, algorithms, etc.
  • 2+ years' experience in Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML5, PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.
  • Experience in REST API development and integration.
  • Experience with source control (Git) and unit testing tools.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, agile environment.
  • Self-motivated, quick learner, and a responsive team player.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of microservices.
