Role Summary:

We are looking for a PHP Laravel Architect to lead the design, architecture, and development of high-performance web applications. You will play a pivotal role in making strategic technical decisions, guiding development teams, and ensuring the delivery of scalable and maintainable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architectural design and development of large-scale web applications using PHP Laravel
  • Develop highly scalable and secure systems by defining architectural patterns and development standards
  • Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Optimize application architecture for performance, maintainability, and scalability
  • Ensure the integration of backend systems with APIs, external services, and frontend components
  • Design and implement robust backend services and data structures, including NoSQL/SQL databases
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to development teams
  • Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and troubleshoot complex issues
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and innovation

Must-Have Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in PHP Laravel development
  • Strong background in system architecture, REST API design, and microservices
  • Proficiency in OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns
  • Extensive experience with SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL), query optimization, and schema design
  • Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB
  • Expertise in software testing (PHPUnit, Behat)
  • Strong knowledge of performance optimization, scalability strategies, and system security
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies
  • Familiarity with frontend frameworks like Vue.js or React

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD pipelines, Docker)
  • Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, etc.)
  • Proficiency with GraphQL APIs
