Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and document internal audits to assess the effectiveness of financial controls, operational procedures, and compliance with company policies
  • Identify control weaknesses, risks, and areas for process improvement, and recommend actionable solutions
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax laws, and internal compliance standards
  • Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation and support during audit engagements
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate audit trails and internal audit documentation for reference and accountability
  • Analyze financial statements, KPIs, and business trends to support financial planning and executive decision-making
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and monthly/quarterly variance analyses
  • Evaluate cost structures, profitability drivers, and financial efficiency across departments and business units
  • Conduct financial modeling, scenario planning, and return-on-investment (ROI) assessments for strategic projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver clear financial insights and performance reports
  • Assist in managing tax compliance including preparation of filings, handling tax notices, and responding to regulatory inquiries
  • Monitor updates in tax legislation and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline. A professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CA, CPA) is a plus
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in internal audit, financial analysis, or a related finance role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and accounting/ERP software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting standards (e.g., IFRS), and internal control frameworks
  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

Nice to have
  • Prior experience in audit or finance within a technology-driven or growth-oriented company
  • Familiarity with risk assessment tools and performance dashboards
