Network of Organizations Working for Persons with Disabilities (NOWPDP), is a non-governmental organization, established in 2008 as a disability inclusive initiative and works for the welfare, education, skill building, and economic empowerment of persons with disabilities.
The Marketing and Communications (MarComms) Associate will be required to assist the team in all matters related to internal and external communications of NOWPDP. The associate will be responsible for covering and editing photography/ videography for all events and sessions at NOWPDP. The incumbent will also be required to overlook other aspects of the department/organization, if and when required.

The Marketing and Communications (MarComms) Associate will be required to assist the team in all matters related to internal and external communications of NOWPDP. The associate will be responsible for covering and editing photography/ videography for all events and sessions at NOWPDP. Job Responsibilities:Communications
·Developing the communications strategy to publicize NOWPDP activities on the NOWPDP website, mainstream media, and social media
·Implementing the developed strategy to increase awareness of NOWPDP's activities
·Creating newsletters and annual reports to be sent to different stakeholders
·Collaborating with NOWPDP staff to develop content for newsletters, annual reports, and other publications
·Designing and developing promotional materials for NOWPDP's activities
·Leading media engagement and developing press releases
Social Media:
·Facilitate the management of social media pages of NOWPDP including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and LinkedIn
·Run digital campaigns for enhancing the organizational visibility and crowd funding of programs
·Record and edit programmatic videos and beneficiary testimonials
·Develop meaningful online/offline partnership and improve NOWPDP's Google ranking
·Ensure active engagement and increase reach, followers and likes on all social media platforms
·Develop content calendar for all social media platforms on a bi-weekly basis and obtain all necessary approvals
Fundraising:
·Ensure the timely generation of receipts and acknowledgement letters.
·Maintain records in the donor database, and reconcile records with Finance team
·Develop proposals, presentations, and other donor-centric material for pitching to individuals and organizations.
·Support the development of donor reporting including but not limited to those required for Grant Bodies, Corporate Donors, Board and other essential stakeholders.
·Research about relevant grant opportunities and support in writing grant applications
Events:
·Planning and coordinating events in relation to NOWPDP's programs & projects, which are in line with NOWPDP's mandate
·Facilitate in organizing events and campaigns for Fundraising
PR:
·Developing PR strategies and campaigns
·Preparing press releases, keynote speeches and promotional material
·Building positive relationships with stakeholders, media and the public
·Address inquiries from the media and other parties
·Organize PR events
Additional Responsibilities:
·Work together with internal and external teams on construction design and development on projects
·Contribute in certification and accessibility audits for other organizations as required by Programs team
Qualification and Experience:·Bachelor's degree in media sciences/ communication design/ business administration
·2 years of work experience in branding and communications/ digital marketing/donor management/ Communications (preferred)
·Previous experience in marketing agencies (preferred)
·Previous experience in donor management (preferred)
·Fresh graduates can apply
·Knowledge of disability issues (preferred)
·Experience in branding and communications
Skills:·Basic graphic design skills
·Basic photography/ videography skills
·Excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills.
·Ability to work effectively in a team
·Proficiency in MS Office
·Ability to multitask and work under stress to meet deadlines
·Fluency in Urdu and English
