Position Overview:

The Online Research Specialist is responsible for conducting thorough and detailed online research to gather data and obtain information that supports business decisions. This role involves utilizing various online tools, databases, and resources to collect information that aids in market analysis, lead generation, and other business activities.

The ideal candidate is curious, analytical, and proficient at researching and extracting information from the vast digital landscape.

This job has flexible timings.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct online research using databases, web sources, and industry reports to gather data on market information, potential clients, and other relevant topics.
  2. Compile and organize findings into reports or databases for easy access and analysis by the team.
  3. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and procurement teams to provide actionable insights that can drive business strategies.
  4. Constantly monitor online forums, social media, and news sources to stay updated with current and emerging listings.
  5. Develop and maintain an array of resources and tools for efficient online research.
  6. Stay updated with online research techniques and tools to enhance research efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Market Research, Business, Informational Technologies, or related fields.
  2. Proven experience as a research specialist or similar role with a strong understanding of online research methodologies.
  3. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  4. Proficient in using search engines, databases, and other online tools to gather data.
  5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple research projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Familiarity with data research & analysis tools and software.
  2. Additional languages are a plus for global market research.
