We are looking for a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure solutions. You will collaborate with developers, system administrators, and other teams to support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), monitoring, and cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and manage scalable infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • Monitor application performance and reliability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic.
  • Automate system administration tasks and infrastructure provisioning.
  • Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Ensure system availability, reliability, and security across development, test, and production environments.
  • Work closely with development teams to support build, release, and deployment pipelines.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues in staging and production environments.
  • Apply best practices for logging, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a DevOps or infrastructure automation role.
  • Proficiency with at least one scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python).
  • Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with security best practices in cloud and DevOps environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert.
