Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to protect our organization's information systems from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will analyze security risks, implement security measures, and respond to security incidents. The role requires expertise in monitoring, detection, and incident response to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct security assessments, audits, and penetration testing to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls.
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Investigate security incidents and breaches, performing forensic analysis and mitigation strategies.
  • Manage security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint protection.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Provide security awareness training to employees and conduct phishing simulations.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to secure applications and infrastructure.
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or IT security roles.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and vulnerability scanners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to respond quickly to security incidents.
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash) is a plus.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+ preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to educate non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of threat intelligence, malware analysis, and security analytics.
  • Understanding of DevSecOps and secure coding practices.
