The primary responsibility of a Senior WordPress Developer would be to lead the development of complex WordPress projects from start to finish and understand client needs and create custom solutions that meet their requirements. You'd also need to provide technical guidance to junior developers and collaborate with other team members, such as designers and project managers, to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities
  1. Creating responsive and mobile-friendly designs for WordPress sites.
  2. Integrating third-party APIs and services into WordPress sites.
  3. Optimizing WordPress sites for speed and performance.
  4. Troubleshooting and debugging issues with WordPress sites.
  5. Leading the development team and providing technical guidance to junior developers.
  6. Understand client needs and provide updates on project progress.
  7. Collaborating with designers and project managers to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  8. Staying up to date with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress development.
Job Specification

Requirements:

  1. Extensive knowledge and 4+ years of experience with WordPress, including its core functions, architecture, and development best practices.
  2. Familiarity with WordPress APIs: Understanding of the WordPress APIs, such as the REST API, is crucial for integrating WordPress with other services and platforms.
  3. Familiar with debugging tools and techniques, as well as testing frameworks such as PHPUnit, to ensure the quality of their code.
  4. Hands on experience on WooCommerce and extensive payment gateway integration skills.
