The Role
You Will Be Responsible For
  1. Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial, or domestic purposes.
  2. Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps.
  3. Establishing construction, manufacturing, or installation standards or specifications by performing detailed calculations.
  4. Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
  5. Performing engineering tasks using computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.
  6. Consulting with customers, engineers, and others regarding engineering products or projects.
  7. Writing reports and compiling data for electrical engineering projects and studies.
  8. Preparing specifications for electrical equipment and materials purchases.
  9. Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budgeting.
  10. Supervising or training project team members.
  11. Maintaining electrical equipment.
  12. Working with technicians.
  13. Conducting on-site assessments to determine security needs and proposing solutions.
  14. Collaborating with clients and stakeholders for successful system implementation.
  15. Performing system integration and troubleshooting.
  16. Providing training and support on security system operation and maintenance.
  17. Staying updated with industry trends and security technology advancements.
  18. Conducting maintenance and inspections for system reliability.
  19. Preparing documentation such as installation plans and maintenance records.
  20. Collaborating with the sales team for technical support during pre-sales and planning.
Ideal Profile
Qualifications
  • BS in Electrical, Electronics, or relevant fields
  • 3-6 months experience in security system installation/support
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards
  • Experience with CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, hydraulic, and alarm systems
  • System configuration, integration, troubleshooting skills
  • Networking principles and protocols familiarity
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Security System Installer) are a plus
