Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer with strong proficiency in React (preferred) and Node.js to join our product team. You will play a pivotal role in building a scalable, AI-powered platform for cost estimation of architectural and civil engineering drawings. Your primary focus will be on developing high-performance, interactive front-end features, while also contributing to the backend APIs and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable and reusable React components with a strong emphasis on performance, accuracy, and UX for technical drawings.
  • Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate vector-based measurement tools and intelligent cost estimation logic into the UI.
  • Design and build RESTful or GraphQL APIs using Node.js to serve application data and support AI workflows.
  • Implement responsive UIs that support interaction with large PDFs and architectural files, ensuring pixel-perfect rendering and usability.
  • Translate UI/UX wireframes and product requirements into functional, production-ready code.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and help establish coding standards and technical direction.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, AI engineers, and other full stack developers in an Agile environment.
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code and participate in peer reviews and QA cycles.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in full stack web development and emerging technologies in civil engineering tech.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in web development with a strong command of React.js and solid exposure to Node.js.
  • Experience working with state management libraries like Zustand, Redux, or Context API.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, asynchronous operations, and real-time data handling.
  • Proficient in modern build tools such as Vite, Webpack, or Babel.
  • Hands-on experience with version control using Git.
  • Familiarity with unit and integration testing using Jest, Testing Library, or similar tools.

Preferred / Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with Tailwind CSS and component-based styling (CSS Modules, Styled Components).
  • Exposure to PDF rendering libraries (e.g., pdfjs-dist, Konva.js, Fabric.js) or CAD-related tools is a strong plus.
  • Prior experience in civil or architectural domains, especially related to construction tech or drawing analysis.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or basic DevOps workflows.
  • Familiarity with Next.js and server-side rendering techniques.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and debugging skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, especially in cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive mindset and ability to work both independently and as part of a distributed team.
  • Willingness to learn domain-specific knowledge related to construction drawings and cost estimation.
