Apply now for the position of Accounting & Controlling Specialist (1 Year Contract), This role is based in Lahore, Pakistan.

Your role:

  1. Supporting in implementation of upcoming P58 ERP system in country.
  2. Coordinating and interacting with business to provide accounting support during month end/quarter end closing (e.g. posting of journal entries)
  3. Coordinating and interacting with Accounting Hub and prepares monthly reporting packages and analysis for regular monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  4. Responsible for the approval and release of journals for manual adjustments requested by business
  5. Provides monthly accounting governance and closing activities for the allocated area and alignment critical topics with Accounting Hub
  6. Monitors ledger account reconciliations prepared by business/legal entity and follows up and clears anomalies identified
  7. Performs quarterly Balance Sheet reviews, and investigates and clears anomalies
  8. Execute assigned tasks and activities with high efficiency and quality following the company rules, regulations, policies and/or instructions
  9. Posting and reconciliation of bank cash transactions, accounts & GL Monitoring and clearing of GR/IR & regrouping
  10. Posting of ICC invoices, debit & credit notes received during the month and reconciliation and matching of the respective accounts
  11. Maintain and process complex entries in accordance with IFRS/GAAP requirements
  12. Prepare journal entries and analyze complex schedules

Your expertise:

  1. Bachelor's degree in accountancy or equivalent, BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Accounting knowledge and understanding of end-to-end business process and its various controls
  3. Experience within shared services environment will have added advantage
  4. 4-5 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  6. Proficiency in ERP e.g. SAP FICO.
  7. Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office 365
  8. Accuracy and attention to detail is critical
  9. Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  10. Excellent verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills
