Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
  • Ability to create a wide variety of pastries, including cakes, cookies, pies, and tarts
  • Knowledge of decorating techniques
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and recipe accuracy
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills for team collaboration
  • Food hygiene certification preferred
Responsibilities
  1. Create pastries based on customer demand and seasonal ingredients
  2. Develop new recipes and experiment with flavors
  3. Decorate pastries using piping, glazing, frosting, etc.
  4. Ensure high-quality presentation and consistency
  5. Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
  6. Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and organized
  7. Train and guide junior pastry chefs
  8. Collaborate on new menu items for events or holidays
