Must have at least 5 years of hands-on work experience on Multi-Terra Byte, Multi-Vendor Storage Solutions:

  1. Must have understanding of SAN, NAS, Technologies, and Architectures.
  2. Must have understanding of Oracle, MS SQL, DB2, and Informix Databases.
  3. Must understand storage Clusters and Storage on Wide Area Networks.
  4. Working knowledge of MVS (z/OS, OS/390) environment and components, ISPF, REXX, CLIST.
  5. Working knowledge of DFSMS, implementation and maintenance (creating and maintaining ACS routines).
  6. Working knowledge of HSM, implementation and maintenance.
  7. Working knowledge of tape management systems like CA-TLMS and RMM, implementation, maintenance, and installation.
  8. Working knowledge of MVS Catalog structure, and be able to put in place catalog back and recovery procedures.
  9. Working knowledge of OAM and Auto Tape Library.
  10. Working Knowledge of TSM (Tivoli Storage Manager) running on mainframe, including installation of the product.
  11. Must be able to implement backup and restore procedures for MVS system/application DASD under IBM Shark and DS8100.
  12. Strong problem analysis and diagnostic experience to support day-to-day operations related to storage.
Job Specification

Mainframe Storage Specialist with 5-10+ years of experience in the following areas:

  1. Working knowledge of MVS (z/OS, OS/390) environment and components, ISPF, REXX, CLIST.
