Position: Senior Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Strong Expertise in Data stage 9.1, 11.5, 11.7.
  • Strong Expertise in Databases.
  • Strong Experience in writing complex SQL queries to perform data analysis.
  • Strong Unix Shell Scripting skills.
  • Solid understanding of Data warehousing concepts.
  • Demonstrable Architectural/design experience in ETL/Business Intelligence projects.
  • Develop and Unit Test ETL code in DataStage.
  • Knowledge of Control-M or any Scheduling tools.
  • Knowledge of DevOps methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of BI toolset and capabilities.
  • Experience and ability to apply SDLC methodology.
  • Delivering projects from requirement to implementation under Agile project methods, designing and engineering software with the customer/user experience as a key objective.
  • Actively contributes to Technology Engineering Practice by sharing Subject Matter Expertise from their area of specialism, best practices, and learnings.
  • Drives adherence to all standards and policies within their area of Technology Engineering.
  • Delivery and support of data-related infrastructure and architecture to optimise data storage and consumption across the bank, including addressing functional and non-functional requirements relevant to data in large applications.
  • Provide support in identification and resolution of all incidents associated with the IT service, as directed by leadership of the DevOps team.
  • Ensure service resilience, service sustainability, and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered.
