The role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Surveyor to join our team for a prestigious hydropower project based in Lower Kohistan, KPK. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in surveying and topographical assessments, with substantial experience in supporting large-scale civil engineering projects, particularly in hydropower development.
- Assist in conducting land and topographic surveys under the guidance of the Surveyor.
- Support the establishment of control points and alignments for construction activities.
- Record and maintain accurate site data and field notes.
- Operate basic surveying instruments, including Total Station and GPS, under supervision.
- Perform basic calculations and data processing to support survey tasks.
- Ensure proper care and handling of survey equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and project guidelines during fieldwork.
With a track record of achievement in a related role, you will have gained your experience in a consultancy environment and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.
Suitable applicants will have/be:
- Tertiary qualifications or a related discipline (e.g. Diploma in Civil, Surveying or a related field.)
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in surveying, preferably in hydropower or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Basic knowledge of surveying principles and equipment.
- Ability to work in challenging and remote locations.
