Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented Video Editor & Graphic Designer who has experience in both video editing and graphic design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting visually engaging content tailored for various social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and Pinterest. This role requires expertise in branding, typography, and color consistency to ensure our brand identity remains strong across all content.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Creation:

  • Design aesthetic and cohesive Instagram grids, highlight covers, and daily stories.
  • Create platform-specific thumbnails (Instagram - portrait, TikTok - vertical, YouTube - landscape).
  • Adapt designs for various social media platforms while ensuring brand consistency.

Video Editing:

  • Edit engaging short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook Stories.
  • Add motion graphics, transitions, and captions to enhance video content.
  • Optimize video content for ads, organic engagement, and different aspect ratios.

Graphic Design & Branding:

  • Ensure all visuals align with TripShepherd's brand guidelines (correct fonts, colors, and styles).
  • Create infographics, video graphics, social media campaigns, Pinterest pins, Google Display Ads, and article graphics.
  • Resize and optimize travel images for different digital platforms.
  • Develop static and animated Google Ads and Meta Ads (videos & static banners).

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of web and app UI/UX design.
  • Experience in Google Ads adaptation and creating performance-driven ad creatives.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices for visual content.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in social media graphic design and video editing.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Capcut) or Canva.
  • Strong understanding of branding, typography, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to adapt content for multiple social media platforms.
  • Excellent eye for aesthetics, layout, and detail.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Experience in the travel and tourism industry.
  • Background in marketing, advertising, or digital media.
  • Familiarity with Pinterest, YouTube, and Instagram marketing strategies.
