Back End Developer (Node.js + AWS)

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Back End Developer with strong expertise in Node.js and AWS services to join our team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining server-side logic, developing robust APIs, optimizing performance, and ensuring the scalability and security of our backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Node.js.
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs and serverless functions.
  • Work with AWS services (such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB) for backend infrastructure and deployment.
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Integrate third-party services and APIs as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with the frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production issues and optimize backend processes.
  • Implement best practices for CI/CD, testing, and deployment.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of professional experience in backend development.
  • Strong expertise in Node.js and related frameworks (like Express.js, Fastify).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (especially EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudWatch).
  • Good understanding of database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB).
  • Familiarity with serverless architectures and microservices.
  • Solid understanding of API security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, API rate limiting).
  • Experience with containerization (Docker is a plus).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with GraphQL APIs.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK).
  • Experience working in agile development environments.
