Job Description:
  • Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel (v8+) and PHP (8+).
  • Implement and optimize backend logic for user authentication (OAuth 2.0, Laravel Socialite, Sanctum), product listings, SKU configurations, shipping (EasyPost, DHL, FedEx), payment integrations (Stripe, PayPal, SquadPay, Flutterwave, BTCPay Server), and order management.
  • Integrate third-party APIs (e.g., WhatsApp, Twilio, TaxJar, OpenCelliD) and AWS services (S3 for media hosting, SES for email notifications).
  • Build responsive frontend interfaces using Bootstrap, JavaScript/jQuery, ensuring performance targets.
  • Implement specialized features such as Three.js-based 3D packing algorithms, QR code generation (endroid/qr-code), and PDF generation.
  • Utilize Redis for caching (e.g., API responses, recommendations) and MySQL for data storage.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers and UI/UX designers to deliver scalable, user-friendly applications.
  • Perform debugging, optimize application performance, and ensure data security (e.g., CSRF, XSS prevention).
  • Write clean, maintainable code following MVC architecture and Laravel best practices.
  • Participate in Agile processes (daily scrums, sprint planning) to meet milestone deadlines.
  • Maintain and update existing Laravel-based applications, ensuring compatibility with project requirements.
Job Specification:

Core Skills:

  • Solid expertise in PHP (8+) and Laravel framework (v8+), including Laravel Socialite, Sanctum, Blade, Eloquent, and job queues.
  • Proficiency in MySQL for relational database management (e.g., user data, SKU configurations, orders).
  • Experience with Redis for caching (e.g., API responses, session data).
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON, with experience integrating 3–5 third-party APIs (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Twilio).
  • Familiarity with frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap (v5+), and jQuery.
  • Knowledge of MVC architecture and version control using Git (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket).
  • Understanding of security principles (e.g., CSRF, XSS prevention, secure API authentication).

Specialized Skills:

  • Experience with AWS services (S3 for media storage, SES for email notifications).
  • Knowledge of PDF generation (dompdf) and QR code generation (endroid/qr-code).
  • Experience with complex API integrations (e.g., EasyPost, DHL, FedEx, BTCPay Server, TaxJar).

Optional Skills (Bonus):

  • Familiarity with Vue.js for enhanced frontend interactivity.
  • Experience with MySQL, postgreSQL.
