Job Summary:
Kamion Pharma is seeking an Electromechanical Engineer with expertise in electrical and mechanical systems for pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing. The ideal candidate should have experience in machinery design, maintenance, automation, and troubleshooting in a factory setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery, motors, drives, control systems, pumps, conveyors, compressors, and HVAC systems.
- Design and optimize electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical layouts for equipment.
- Monitor and enhance the performance of electrical and mechanical systems in production machinery.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for factory equipment.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for breakdowns.
- Integrate automation technologies into production lines to improve efficiency and product quality.
- Develop and optimize control systems, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems for improved reliability.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO standards, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Conduct failure analysis, risk assessments, and safety audits on electromechanical systems.
- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
- Implement energy-efficient solutions to reduce costs and improve sustainability.
- Develop and review SOPs to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Collaborate with suppliers to develop optimal technical solutions and enhance machinery performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (production, quality, and engineering departments).
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and maintenance logs.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 4 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
Skills:
- Strong expertise in PLC systems, automation, and industrial machinery.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, EPLAN, and electrical design software.
- Experience with HVAC, compressors, pumps, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of energy-efficient technologies and sustainable practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time, on-site position at Kamion Pharma's manufacturing facility.
- Occasional overtime may be required to meet maintenance demands.
