Consulting Strategy Consultant AML

Your role and responsibilities

• Coordinate with client stakeholders (Business Team, Developers, Solution Architects) to resolve any blocking issues in the software development lifecycle.
• Support data mapping, configuration documentation, and preparation of technical and architectural documents.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to configure applications for SIT, UAT, and production rollout support.
• Understand and follow Agile methodologies in software development.
• Act as L3 support, working alongside L1/L2 teams to resolve production issues within defined SLAs.
• Learn and apply both technical and functional aspects of the product.
• Interpret requirements provided by senior team members and assist in executing project activities.
• Develop, test, and implement product functionalities from both technical and functional perspectives.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of Relational Databases. Special focus towards Oracle Databases, SQL, PL/SQL,
• Knowledge of Any modern programming language like Java, Python,
• Working knowledge of Enterprise linux e.g file system operations, command line interface, shell scripting, process monitoring
• Working knowledge of Web servers like Websphere, Tomcat, Weblogic, and middleware technologies (acquired through coursework or hands-on experience).
• Willingness to learn new skills and continuously develop technical knowledge.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Familiarity with Enterprise Applications and providing Support to large enterprise grade organizations
• Exposure to the banking domain is a plus.
• Working knowledge or experience of Enterprise Risk and Compliance solutions, preferably around the Oracle's OFSAA platform including modules like:
  • Financial Crimes & Compliance Management (FCCM)
  • Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Solutions
  • Know Your Customer (KYC)
  • Trade-Based Anti-Money Laundering (TBAML)
  • Transaction Monitoring Platforms
