Position Overview: The primary role of the Finance Manager is to ensure strict implementation of general accounting principles applied to Corporate Accounting, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of all financial information. The incumbent should plan and formulate the Company's accounts, cash flows, costing, taxation issues, import matters, and capital and operational budgeting. Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and leadership skills are essential to lead a department effectively. The role also involves creating an effective liaison with the company's banks, vendors, internal and external auditors, and tax consultants to streamline routine matters.

Job Specification

Key Requirements:

  • Candidate must be a Chartered Accountant.
  • Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience, including 5 years of managerial experience in the corporate sector. Experience in construction or property development is an added advantage.
  • Must be within the age range of 40 to 50 years.
  • Must be familiar with the latest accounting and taxation developments to provide timely and accurate reporting, proper tax planning, financial advice, and maximize the utilization of the company's assets and resources.
  • Must be highly motivated and possess strong analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills to manage, lead, and guide a team of finance staff in enhancing their performance in a computerized environment.
  • Must have a good rapport with banking, regulatory, and governing authorities, along with strong written and presentation skills.
