Job Title: Unity Game Developer

Experience: 1 to 1.5 years

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Unity Game Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both leading development efforts and overseeing the production pipeline to ensure timely and high-quality game releases. This role is perfect for a skilled developer with leadership experience who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment. We are looking for a candidate with a strong personality who can take charge of the developer team and effectively manage workflow to drive results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rapidly prototype different ideas & mechanics into fun and engaging gameplay experiences.
  • Implement game mechanics, UI, animation, graphic effects while also solving fun, innovative, and creative gameplay challenges.
  • Communicate with team members to establish an effective pipeline and integrate media assets.
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
  • Closely work with product managers to iterate on game economy, monetization strategy, etc.
  • Do integrations for SDKs & services like Appsflyer, Facebook, Adjust, Max, and Firebase.
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address and mitigate these problems.
  • Work with product teams to ship excellent hyper-casual games.
  • Participate in optional daily meditation sessions to help boost creativity and reduce stress.
  • MUST have the drive and passion to work on making creative games.
  • MUST have the ability to think creatively and have a winning mindset.

Requirements:

  • 1-1.5 years of experience in game development, with a focus on programming and production management.
  • A strong, confident personality with the ability to take charge and effectively manage a development team.
  • Proficiency in C++, C#, or relevant game development languages.
  • Experience working with game engines such as Real Engine or Unity.
  • Proven experience leading a team in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize code for performance and scalability.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of game design principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with multiplayer game development and networking.
  • Knowledge of AI, physics engines, rendering techniques, and animation systems.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git, Perforce, or SVN.
  • Previous experience launching a game from concept to release.
